Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)

The National Resources Conservation Service branch of the United States Department of Agriculture’s Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) provides financial and technical assistance to agricultural producers to assist in improving eco-services on their land without disrupting their agricultural process. Landowners can receive one-on-one help in the development of a conservation plan that can eventually lead to payment for the conservation practices they implement and in some cases payment for how well the eco-service preforms.
