Adjusted Assessed Land Value Analysis

One method of incentivizing landowners and communities to convert land to a conservation easement is by using an Adjusted Assessed Land Value Analysis (AALV). AALV uses a multiplier to adjust the local tax authority’s assessed land value, opposed to using the standard appraisal value.
