AccessingDreams

and building voices

Change begins with language

Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Environmental and Resource Economics in 2020. Today, she is a graduate student at Colorado State University in the Teaching English as a Second and Foreign Language program.

In her work, she has found linguistic disconnections between government materials and those who use them most. These disconnections often result in the underutilization of government programs. She believes that open-access information should be linguistically accessible to every person. With her skills in language, research, and data science she hopes to construct bridges between these gaps and guide people to more secure futures.

Accessing dreams should be simple so that every person gains chances at building their strongest voice.
